Reflecting on an inconsistent start

My first full season as a golf professional has been really interesting. It's a different world of course and there's a lot to get used to and think about. It's been a big learning curve and I'm pleased to have had the opportunity to embark on this journey.

It has felt long and tough quite often during the past few months. Having an inconsistent performance leaves you with lots to cope with mentally as well as working out why some rounds are poor, some average and others really good.

After much review, we realised that a major swing change was needed to bring in some of that much needed consistency across the bag. When I feel under pressure, it's this new stock shot I can turn to to give me stability and more confidence.

For now, I am looking forward to spending some time working on it and improving generally throughout the training season ahead.
